Mackenzie Johnson:

Hey everybody. I'm Mackenzie Johnson from The Science of Parenting team. And I'm here today to kind of wrap a bow on this, oh man, what's the word? Adventure. That has been 2020. We were fortunate at The Science of Parenting to start our podcast this year, and we are so grateful to all of you that have stuck with us and have been following along as we've dug into some great topics. We started out this year kind of doing what we called the parenting foundations. We dug into parenting styles and tantrums and meltdowns, and parenting through judgment. And in the summer, we were able to talk about what we called the six superpowers of self care. And then of course, this fall spending lots of time and digging into temperament. We were so grateful to have some awesome researchers and guests join us to provide their expertise on this topic. And so it has been quite a year here at The Science of Parenting, but we know it hasn't just been a big year for us. Uh, we've all been parenting and living in the middle of a pandemic and unprecedented times. So we just wanted to give you this kind of final message, uh, give you best wishes for 2021 and all that it will bring to each of us. And then of course, please join us in 2021 and come along with us as we tackle the ups and downs, the ins and outs and the research and reality all around The Science of Parenting.
